Course Description: Lasers give us a new application mode for treatment of many dental problems. This online course provides basic understanding of laser physics on all wavelengths that can be utilized in dentistry. You will know how to apply this technology for a wide range of treatments. This will include basic oral surgery, laser assisted periodontal, hard tissue applications (Restoratives procedures). You will also learn about therapeutic lasers (LLLT’s), as well as use of Fluorescence for soft tissue diagnostics. Laser Safety is a very important part of the program. It will guide you and your office in proper to safely use lasers. Patient case studies will provide a realistic understanding of how laser can work for you.
