Course Description: Diodes are the most commonly used lasers in the dentistry. One of the main factors is that they very cost effective. Unfortunately most Doctors and Hygienists do not know or understand the science behind the technology and cannot get the results they desire. The Diode Laser course will provide you with basic laser science fundamentals, spatial tissue dynamics as well as the understanding of how to control the temperature gradient necessary to provide optimal treatment.Laser application for basic soft tissue surgery and laser assisted periodontal therapy will be provide in module 2 of the course. Safety protocols and office administration responsibilities are also covered.
