Part 1 – Diagnostic Measurements – Cephalometric:  Provides clinicians, dental hygienists and dental assistants with a guide to obtaining accurate cephalometric measurements and analysis as part of their patients’ diagnostic records. The program includes detailed information on lateral cephalometric analysis and a guide to assessing the patient’s skeletal pattern. Step-by-step instructions are provided for determining the patient’s skeletal age from the lateral cephalogram by evaluating the level of cervical vertebral maturation. In addition, the legal ramifications of inadequate diagnostic records are outlined.

Part 2 – Study Models: Provides clinicians, dental hygienists and dental assistants with a guide to obtaining accurate measurements and analysis of dental models as part of their patients’ diagnostic records. The course provides information regarding standard measurements for the dentition, with specific emphasis on both the Bolton analysis and the Moyer’s Mixed Dentition analysis. Clinical aspects of these analysis are illustrated and emphasize the essential role such measurements make in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The legal ramifications of inadequate diagnostic records are outlined.
