Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: This course offers clinicians a unique guide to developing a diagnosis and treatment plan for the orthodontic patient. The program includes a clear and concise step-by-step method for creating a diagnostic template which can be used for all orthodontic cases. In addition, helpful guidelines for developing a case analysis summary including the diagnosis and treatment plan, are presented in an easy-to-follow format. Other useful templates, such as one for recording the malocclusion, have been added and can be custom designed as needed by the clinician. Both the failure to use an informed consent and the legal ramifications of creating an inadequate diagnosis and treatment plan are highlighted.
